Since November 1976

From Royal Castle to local legend

In November 1976, the Char-Hut family converted the Royal Castle on Miami Gardens Drive and NW 7th Ave. into the first Char-Hut. What started as one humble stand in North Miami became a South Florida institution.

In addition to our signature burgers, Char-Hut features a menu of choices including chicken, sides, sweets, combo meals, salads and more. Today, our family-owned business has a reputation for serving the community — not only the leanest, most delicious burgers in town, but also giving back to charitable causes and being a family favorite.
